Did you ever think you could be a part of making a film?
Independent documentary filmmaking is a labor of love that takes a myriad of people to make and sometimes years to complete. Rarely does it make money. The benefit of a documentary is its intrinsic value and its ability to educate young and old alike by shedding light on a topic that few know about. Very few stories highlight Oklahoma’s heritage at the national level and even fewer are as prime to be told as The Faces Of Change.
This is a fantastic and true story that deserves its time in the national spotlight!

Ways to participate!
Our film footage from the 50th year anniversary in Oklahoma is incredible, with amazing interviews and stunning visual footage. We now have 34 formal interviews and 14 "Man on the Street" interviews. We still need some archival film and photos from the sit-ins to bring to life the courage and determination that was shown by the people we interviewed and those involved. This is where we can use your help.
FIRST - We are seeking archival photos, archival film and memorabilia to add visual depth to the film. If you love to dig in the archives at libraries, universities or TV stations, CALL ME at 360-305-7837!
If you were a participant, do you have any photos from that time period (related and non-related) that we can possibly include in the film? Do you have any film footage of you from that time period (related and non-related)? Do you have any memorabilia that you think might add to the flavor of the film, i.e.: newspaper articles, songs you remember, stories you didn’t get to share on camera? SECOND - We are fundraising again. Funds raised will allow us to purchase pertinent archival images from the press. Our goal for archival footage is to raise $12,500. Some of this will be in-kind, which always helps. So, pass the word along to your friends and associates announcing this opportunity and get them involved in making of this film, too!
There are two ways to contribute. First, I am proud to announce that my new website is up and running with colorful works of art that can be purchased AND that 100% of the profit from all purchases will go directly into the making of The Faces Of Change documentary.
If you don’t find a piece of art that suits your taste, you can still make a difference by contributing to the film through the Oklahoma City Community Foundation or the Northwest Film Forum. They have an account specific for The Faces Of Change Documentary. All charitable contribution sent to Oklahoma City Community Foundation or Northwest Film Forum are tax deductible.

Do you have photographs, film or memorabilia? Let us review your materials and make copies of ones that fit the film. On completion of the film, all interviews and copies of materials (unless otherwise requested) will be donated to the Oklahoma Historical Society’s Resource Center for use by generations to come.
